About Dolomemorial

Dolores Olive Boschert was a very special daughter, sister, aunt, friend and person.  Unfortunately, her life was cut short on May 24th, 2022 at 2:30AM, due to a tragic weight lifting accident while she was working out alone. Many lives have changed forever since then.  The Dolomemorial effort was initiated by her family due to a tremendous outpouring of support from friends and family. In her memory we will be offering scholarships to both Fire Academy and any form of higher education that an applicant demonstrates a passion towards.  This scholarship activity is, in small part, to keep Dolo's passion, energy, and excitement for learning, serving, and simply living life to the fullest.  See details on how to apply for scholarships or donate to help this passion continue.

The Dolomemorial Scholarships will begin distributions in 2023 and be available as follows:

1) St. Louis Fire Academy Scholarship

One candidate for each fire academy class will be awarded $1,000 to help pay for tuition. This will amount to approximately three scholarships per calendar year at the discretion of the family.  

2) Higher Education Scholarship

Each year, one graduating high school senior will be awarded $1,000 to help pay for continuing education to bring their passion closer to reality. Whether college bound, technical school bound, or any other training field - so long as the applicant demonstrates true passion for the field they pursue.

3) Duchesne High School Scholarship

Each year, a Duchesne High School student will be awarded $2,000 to help pay for tuition. This scholarship was created thanks to a generous financial contribution to honor Dolores as a Duchesne alumni and swim coach.
